Forgive Me?

I honestly can't believe that in the 13 years of being a doula and 10 as an holistic womb practitioner, I hadn't thought of Auré sooner!

Feeling compelled to start my fertility blogging journey with an honest, heartfelt apology!

In all of my years of working within the fertility, pregnancy, birth and parenting space - I'd never realised how many Black women and couples were impacted by fertility struggles. It just wasn't on my radar and, if I'm being honest, I feel a bit embarrassed to admit it.

Now that I'm knee deep in the Black fertility space, I'm hearing more and more about the struggles, the systemic inequalities, community/family taboos, isolation etc etc that add an extra layer of challenge for Black and dual-heritage people whose deepest wish is to start or grow a family.

I'm late but I'm here now and my mission is to wholeheartedly support my Auré clients in their quest to become parents. No judgement, no shame - just radical holistic care alongside expert clinical and therapeutic input.
