I want to set things straight from the get go. I won't co-sign you short-changing yourself. I won't be complicit in your self-neglect.

I'm saying this with the utmost love and compassion for you.

As your Auré Fertility Aunty (that's an aunty who will boost your fertility but without the aunty politics), there are some things that must be said!

I WILL NOT co-sign you short-changing yourself and your fertility journey. Chances are that as a Black/dual-heritage woman, you're accustomed to doing this - it may even be your default setting (it was mine for many years).

How this short-changing shows up - you're struggling to conceive and carry your baby to term but in our CONSULT CALL you ask if it's possible to take just 1 element of the holistic fertility care package. You tell me that finances are already committed to the kitchen reno/holiday/big birthday bash etc. so the cost of your Auré care is out of reach.

My response, either Auré isn't for you (just like a Lamborghini isn't for me) and that's ok. OR, you're not ready.

You're not ready to:

Prioritise you, your wellness or your dreams of motherhood
Invest and commit in your fertility health
Feel the doubts & fears BUT do it anyway
Lean in to Auré's radical holistic care

I'm saying all of this without judgement - I'm a Black woman and I've short-changed myself SO much in the past.

I won't co-sign a watered down version of Auré care because in 10 years of supporting women to achieve a healthy pregnancy (where they and all around them had given up hope), I know what works - and more importantly, I know what doesn't.
